Residents Association
The Westwood Hills Residents Association (WWHRA) is a volunteer community organization consisting of a vibrant group of Westwood Hills residents who care about their neighbours and their community.
The WWHRA serves all residents of the community by:
- Monitoring and addressing community problems and concerns.
- Forwarding community objectives to Halifax Regional Municipality.
- Examining and participating in HRM initiatives such as green space design, parks review, bikeway projects, etc.
- Providing open annual meetings at which any resident can voice views about community matters.
- Hosting special functions and events for the Westwood Hills community including Canada Day Barbeque and Fireworks, outdoor Christmas Decorating Contest, New Years Eve Fireworks, Community Yard Sale, Annual Skating Party, etc.
