HRM Community Connector Roads Open House – Upper Hammonds Plains

Upper Hammonds Plains – Upper Tantallon Community Connector Roads

Municipal employees are investigating options to build community connector roads between:

– Westwood Hills and Upper Hammonds Plains
– Westwood Hills and Highland Park North

The purpose of these roads would be to improve access and egress in case of emergencies, as well as to increase transportation network connectivity between these three communities.

The consideration of these connector roads is the first piece of a larger study of how to improve transportation efficiency and emergency access for communities surrounding Hammonds Plains Road.

Residents are invited to drop in, learn more about the project and speak with municipal staff. There will be no formal presentation or agenda. The same project information and feedback questions will be available at both sessions and on the project webpage.
