The Hammonds Plains Volunteer Firefighters Society is hosting a Bicycle Rodeo for local children and families, focused on bike safety, fun, and community engagement.

What to Expect
The event will feature:
✅ RCMP Road Safety Obstacle Course
✅ Bicycle safety education with the RCMP
✅ Free bicycle raffle
✅ Hot dogs and drinks
✅ Fire truck displays
✅ Family-friendly activities
Children are encouraged to bring their own bicycle and helmet, complete the obstacle course, and enter for a chance to win a new bicycle.
This event is made possible through the support of the Hammonds Plains Volunteer Firefighters Society, the RCMP, Nova Scotia Firefighters 50/50, and Rafflebox.
Who Should Attend?
This event is geared toward school-aged children and their families, but all community members are welcome to stop by and enjoy the afternoon.
We encourage Westwood Hills families to take advantage of this great opportunity to promote safe cycling habits while having some fun with friends and neighbours.
