The Westwood Hills Residents Association (WWHRA) is a volunteer community organization consisting of a vibrant group of Westwood Hills residents who care about their neighbours and their community. The WWHRA was registered in 2002.

The WWHRA serves all residents of the community by:

  • Monitoring community problems and concerns
  • Forwarding community objectives to Halifax Regional Municipality
  • Facilitating the vetting and review of rezoning applications and other land-use proposals
  • Examining and participating in City initiatives such as green space design, parks review, bikeway projects, etc.
  • Providing open annual meetings at which any resident can voice views about community matters
  • Hosting special functions and events for the Westwood Hills community including Canada Day Barbeque and Fireworks, outdoor Christmas Decorating Contest, New Years Eve Fireworks, Community Yard Sale, Skating Party, etc.
